About me

Hello, and thanks for your interest in my work!

I am a postdoctoral researcher at Hólar University in Hólar, Iceland. In my work, I focus on the morphology and evolution of freshwater fishes. Right now I am working with arctic charr, but I have also worked with threespine sticklebacks and American paddlefish. I have been at Hólar since the beginning of 2023, and previously completed a PhD at McGill University in the lab of Andrew Hendry, a MSc in the lab of Laurie Sanderson at The College of William & Mary, and a BA at Colgate University.

One of the projects I have worked on is a large-scale experimental introduction of stickleback populations into 9 lakes on Alaska's Kenai Peninsula. This project was recently featured in two episodes of the Big Biology podcast with Andrew Hendry & Katie Peichel, and Andrew Hendry & Alison Derry. Please give them a listen!
